The Central New York Regional Market makes it easy to use your SNAP/EBT benefits to shop for fresh, local food. Our EBT Token Program lets you swipe your card, receive market tokens, and even get matched with FreshConnect Coupons to stretch your food dollars further.

Where to Get EBT Tokens

📍 Thursdays (May–October)
Welcome Center, 2100 Park Street, Syracuse • 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

📍 Saturdays & Sundays (Year-Round)
E-Shed, 2100 Park Street, Syracuse• 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

How It Works

  1. Visit a Token Center – Bring your SNAP/EBT card to the Token Center in the E-Shed (Sat & Sun) or the Welcome Center (Thurs, May–Oct).

  2. Swipe Your Card – Choose the dollar amount of tokens you’d like to purchase.

  3. Get FreshConnect Coupons – New York State matches your purchase with up to $50 in FreshConnect Coupons each day.

  4. Shop the Market – Use your tokens and coupons with participating vendors to buy eligible items, including:

  • 🍎 Fresh fruits & vegetables

  • 🍞 Breads & baked goods

  • 🥩 Meats, seafood & eggs

  • 🧀 Cheese & honey

  • 🪴 Food-producing plants

Important Information

  • 🪙 Tokens never expire – You can use them anytime during your visits to the Market.

  • 📅 FreshConnect Coupons expire annually – Be sure to use them before December 31 each year.

  • 💵 No change is given – Please plan purchases accordingly.

  • 🔔 Ask before you buy – Always check if a vendor accepts EBT Tokens.

  • 📌 Note: CNY Regional Market EBT Tokens are different from Gift Tokens.
